2/15/2010 - It's Been A While, Eh? Sorry for the lack of updates here on the DE Media main page, we've been busy with a lot of work lately. Not all of it has been music videos which is why we haven't really spent much time updating this, but we do have a way for you to keep updated more frequently if you want. Subscribe to www.KennonF.Tumblr.com to see what we're working on aside from music videos. We just got done shooting a video for a band called "The Media" in upstate New York yesterday which went really well. We had a great time, made some great new friends, and shot a great video. Also, we recently shot a video for Ahimsa Sunrise from Western Pennsylvania which is currently the featured video on the top of our page. It will be up in the videos section soon. 10/29/2009 - Lots of videos! We are BUSY here at DE Media! We have quite a few videos scheduled right now... Here is the list: 10/18/2009 - Post Production Update (Modern Day Escape) We are in the post production phase of the Modern Day Escape music video! The video is currently structured and is undergoing revisions before primary color corrections. Expected release dates are sometime in the next week or so, we're working pretty avidly to get this done for submission to MTV2. 10/9/2009 - Preparing for Thursday (Modern Day Escape) Preparation has been a lot heavier on this video than usual. We have a full crew ready to go; Kennon Fleisher will be the Director of Photography, Antonio Jiménez of PA Lighting and Grip is going to be bringing out a 3 ton grip truck and lights and will be our Key Grip, he will also be bringing along an assistant or two in order to help out and do some gaffer work. Ryan Randolph will be doing some professional photos and will be taking the roll of First Assistant Director. Originally we had planned on trying to shoot the video on a RED ONE, but could not obtain such a resource. We will be shooting on a Canon 7D DSLR camera. Afted scoping out some of the footage shot on them, we feel very confident that this is the best route to go to achieve real 35mm depth of field, since currently my HVX200 is without a 35mm Adapter. If anyone wishes to be part of the shoot, please contact me at Kennon@DecembersEdge.com - I'm sure we could use extras. 10/6/2009 - Modern Day Escape The official music video for Modern Day Escape will be shot on October 15th! The location is currently not being released to the public yet, but we will be needing a lot of people to show up. It is going to be a 'house party' setting (controlled party) with a Halloween theme. We will be using a lighting crew to assist on this shoot including a 3 ton grip truck full of lighting and goodies to use. The director of photography for this shoot will be Kennon Fleisher. The video is going to be by far the most legitimate thing that DE Media has done, and will set the new standard for what we do for bands. Stay tuned for very exciting things. 10/5/2009 - Lights Camera Distractions More good news! We are going to be shooting the new music video for Lights Camera Distractions! Almost two years ago we shot their first music video for the song 'Raise This Sail' and it turned out well, but we plan on taking this opportunity to show them what we're really about. We are scheduling a house party of some sorts for this video, and it will be shot in early November time frame. 10/5/2009 - King Cobra DE Media is glad to announce yet another video shoot on the horizon; We will be doing a video for 'King Cobra', a metal band from Columbus, Ohio. We have prior friendship with the drummer of the band, David Stacy who was the drummer of a previous band that we filmed called 'Burning Graceland'. This video is going to be a bit more basic and probably just live shots, but it will still be really cool. 10/3/2009 - Bullets & Belvedere DE Media is excited to announce another new client that will be shooting with us in December! We will be doing a music video for the New Jersey metal band, 'Bullets and Belvedere'. We are negotiating some concept ideas right now and going over all the details but we are both very excited about the upcoming work together. Let them know what you think of their music. 10/1/2009 - Web Optimization Thanks to help from my good friend Justin Majeczky over at www.Varient3.com, I've been able to get my website Search Engine Optimized. Go over to his website and take a look at what he does. We actually do a lot of work together, including the Waterflix DVD 'REWIND' that we put out this past summer. 9/29/2009 - Revamping! Our website will be taking on a new look relatively soon. This is part of our plan to market ourselves better and start showing everyone how well we can do professional level music videos. October 15th is the official shoot date for Modern Day Escape (StandBy Records). The video is being submitted to MTV2 and Fuse for airtime. We have been planning vigorously for this video and anticipation is building as the time comes closer to shoot it. We are viewing this video as a very huge opportunity to build our reputation and become better known as a trusted music video company. The shoot will take place here in Pennsylvania as the band is touring through. We are also currently developing a motion graphics based video for BandSpaces.com to use as a promotional tool. It is also a good opportunity to show off what DE Media is capable of outside of actually shooting videos. There are other upcoming clients that have us excited as well; Tim Lebo (Former guitarist of A Late Night Serenade and BidWell) has started a new project titled "Sky Writing" which we are going to be creating a very unique video for. The video will involve a lot of motion graphic elements and will be shot 100% in front of a green screen.
